NO NEED FOR KENNELS! Because we come to your home, your pets won't be exposed to the sicknesses of other animals, or have to live in a cage or cold concrete run. Especially for adopted pets, in your home care eliminates any fear of being given up or deserted again. But with Critter Nannies, your pet can stay in his own home while you are away. The smells, sights and sounds are familiar to him. It's a relaxed and most importantly familiar environment, because its HOME! Most importantly We offer personalized and specialized care in your home that's affordable and customized to your pet.

Once you decide on Critter Nannies as your responsible Petsitter...

+ We will come to your home at your convenience for the (free) initial "Meet & Greet."

+ Find out your pet's routines, likes and dislikes. Review the paperwork & pick up the keys.

+ At the time of the initial "Meet & Greet" we ask that the house key & or garage code be ready. There will be a $10
fee, if we must return to pick it up prior to the first visit.

+ Key keeper - Critter Nannies will keep a key to the client's home in case their absence is extended - allowing us to care for your pet when your plans change at the last minute.

Before We Begin Care Of Your Pets....

Before we walk or care for your dog we request to see a record of his/her current vaccinations. Vaccinations for dogs include: DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo, Parainfluenza), Bordetella (Kennel Cough Vaccine), & current Rabies is mandatory (a current Rabies innoculation is an Illinois state law). Dogs must also be on Frontline for prevention of fleas & ticks and also have been heartworm tested annually and be on heartworm preventative medication (Interceptor or Heartguard) This is for your dog's protection and others. Dogs should also be licensed within their own village as well.

Your dog must have ID tags & Rabies attached to his/her collar, and be licensed in his or her county.

* We also request that you phone our office (at anytime of day) upon your arrival home after a vacation. This way we know you have arrived home safely to care for your pet. If we do not hear from you, we will return the next day to care for your pet and you will be billed as normal.

Referral Discount- Receive a free visit for each person that you refer who uses our services for at least two visits!

MEDICAL NEEDS OF YOUR PET:
Insulin injections for pets, who require them, are also administered by knowledgeable & gentle Critter Nannies staff. We charge $3.00 per injection for pets who require medication administered by injection while you are away. We will also give your pet any vitamins or oral medications that he or she requires at no charge. Please state your pets medical necessities on the service form you will receive prior to your "Meet & Greet" with Critter Nannies.

*Any additional special requests will be considered and priced accordingly.

Payment Policy:

Payment is expected to be paid prior to the client's departure for each vacation care session or at week's end for daily dog walk clients.Cash, check and money order are accepted. Returned checks are subject to a $45 charge as well.

**The key to a client's residence is to be given to Critter Nannies at the time of the "meet & greet". If the key is not available at the time of the "meet & greet" the client must get the key to Critter Nannies or we will return to pick up the key prior to the scheduled visit and a $10.00 fee will be added to the client's total.

If the client does not choose to use Critter Nannies "critter key keeper" program, then a $10.00 fee will added each time the client's key needs to be picked up from client or returned to client. We recommend that clients take part in the secure "Critter Key Keeper" program for future pet visits or in the case of an emergency and the client cannot get home to care for their pet.

Our Petsitting and Dogwalking services are an affordable way to leave your pooch at home and in loving and caring hands. You will avoid the stress on your pet of a doggie daycare where your pet is only a number amongst many other dogs.

With each visit we will give fresh water, treats, play and socialize with your dog one on one. We will take your dog on a 30 minute walk. Critter Nannies will feed your dog at your specified time. We will brush your dog if needed and administer any oral medications if required.

In an emergency, i.e. your pet is ill, we will rush your pet to the nearest pet hospital, at no charge for transportation.

Petsitting is an excellent way to leave your cat(s) or kitten(s) behind and know that they are in the best of care.

With each visit we will play, socialize, give fresh water and treats and clean the litter box.

Critter Nannies will feed your cat at your specified time.

In an emergency, i.e. your pet is ill, we will rush your pet to the nearest pet hospital, at no charge for transportation.

Critter Nannies Petsitting is an excellent way to leave your bird(s) behind and know that they are in the best of care.

With each visit we will play, socialize, give fresh water, food and treats to your bird. As well as clean the bottom of the bird cage.

In an emergency, i.e. your pet is ill, we will rush your pet to the nearest pet hospital, at no charge for transportation.

Our Petsitting are an excellent way to leave your ferret(s) at home and know that they are in the best of care.

With each visit we will play, socialize, give fresh water, food and treats to your ferret. As well as clean the bottom of the ferret cage.

In an emergency, i.e. your pet is ill, we will rush your pet to the nearest pet hospital, at no charge for transportation.

Our Petsitting are an excellent way to leave your rabbit(s) at home and know that they are in the best of care.

With each visit we will play, socialize, give fresh water, food and treats to your rabbit. As well as clean the bottom of the rabbit cage.

In an emergency, i.e. your pet is ill, we will rush your pet to the nearest pet hospital, at no charge for transportation.

Critter Nannies will also feed average size fish at no extra charge. Large tanks and
specific requests will be subject to an extra fee.

Visits may include private walks, playtime, feeding, water bowl fill up, basic clean-ups, administering oral medications, newspaper/mail pickup/ lights on/off. Let us know what you need.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but Critter Nannies does not care for any reptiles at this time.

After Hours Rates				30 minute walk/or playtime	Any visits required after 10pm or prior to 8am will be subject to after hours fees & availability. Please note if you do not inform us of a service request for a "daily dog walk" at least 7 hours prior to the time needed, this will be considered an "emergency." A $5 emergency fee will be assessed per visit. Please do ot email last minute requests.
Cat Care			8am-8pm	30 minutes of playtime Empty litter box, give treats, give food & water and meds if req.	$17.00		Up to two felines are included at $17 per visit. Any additional cats are $3.00 each per visit extra. There will be an additional fee if more than 3 litterboxes are required to be scooped.
Bird, Rabbit, Ferret, Pig Care & Other Pets Care			$17 per visit, for up to two pets of the "same type" OR ask us about our multiple pet discount. This includes cleaning of pet area or cage, TLC, playtime & attention, fresh water & food and whatever else your pet requires.
Pet Taxi To take pet to trainer, grooming, or veterinarian			8am-6pm		$23.00 Roundtrip Mileage is included for the first 7 miles from client's home. Additional mileage is $.75 per mile. Fee is based on 30 hour time spent for transit and wait times total. Any additional time will be billed accordingly	No additional charge, for 1 additional cat (Cat Carriers must be provided)
